2016 IAAF Melbourne World Challenge – 200m – 1st in 20.76 seconds.
Every year at the Melbourne World Challenge, the 200m sprint is dedicated to the late great Peter Norman. It was an honor and a privilege to have won this year against a field of competition that could end up being this years national finalists!
I’m very happy with how I executed this race, going out hard and staying strong in the final 100m.
I was also presented with a framed photo of the iconic and controversial medal ceremony at the 1968 Mexico Olympics (which you can check out on my instagram – www.instagram.com/alexhartmannathlete)!
